Lewis Hamilton has backed up his impressive first practice session, by topping the time sheet once again in the second practice session at Albert Park on Friday.

Hamilton finished the session 0.421 seconds quicker than second placed Daniil Kvyat in the opening practice session, with Australian Daniel Ricciardo finishing third, 1.15 seconds further back.

The World Champion finished the second session 0.467 seconds quicker than Force India's Nico Hulkenberg, who was 0.178secs ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.

Aussie Daniel Ricciardo finished fourth fastest, 0.645 seconds behind Hamilton.
