Melbourne City have reportedly rejected a huge bid fr star midfielder Aaron Mooy.

Fairfax Media has reported that City have rejected a $2 million bid from Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

The deal would make Mooy the most expensive player to ever be signed from Australia.

City are reportedly not willing to sell the 25-year-old during the upcoming January transfer period, however, may be more open to offers in the off-season.

Mooy has been in stellar form this season, leading the A-League for assists, chances created and crosses.
