Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has made it two wins from two starts to kick off 2016, with victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Hamilton claimed pole on Saturday, but it was teammate Nico Rosberg who took the lead after Hamilton tangled with Valterri Bottas at the first corner and never looked back.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen finished second, while Hamilton recovered to finish third.

Australian Daniel Ricciardo came in fourth for the second race in a row.

Rosberg now has a 17-point lead over teammate Hamilton in the battle for the championship after just two races.
