While Lewis Hamilton was busy tyre testing at the Yas marina Circuit on Tuesday, teammate and 2016 Formula One World Champion, Nico Rosberg, along with the triple world championship winning Mercedes team, was being given an ecstatic reception at the Petronas company's headquarters in Malaysia.
As title partner of the Silver Arrows team since 2010, Petronas has been the lifeblood of the team's triple Championship success - particularly since the introduction of the revolutionary Hybrid engine formula for the 2014 season.
Rosberg and Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Toto Wolff joined the Petronas President and Group CEO Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin at the Petronas Twin Towers, where thousands of employees gathered in the foyer to celebrate a third consecutive year of Championship success for their increasingly strong partnership.
