David Pocock has been offered huge money to join the exodus of Wallabies to France, according to reports surfacing overseas.

According to French publication Midi Olympique Top 14 club Bordeaux have tabled an offer to Pocock in excess of $450,000-a-season, with Toulouse and Racing 92 also interested in Australia's most valuable player after his sensational World Cup playing at number eight.

Pocock has 55 caps for the Wallabies, putting him on the cusp of the ‘Giteau Rule', which was brought in earlier this year and allows players with 60 caps or more to be selected from overseas clubs.

Pocock re-signed with the Brumbies on a one-year deal in August, freeing him to potentially finish his career overseas at the end of a year in which he'll almost certainly race past his 60th game for the Wallabies.
