Time has flown past for new Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas. Ever since he joined the reigning world champions line-up in January, he has been on the go, learning how the Brackley based team works and getting used to the power than is now beneath him when he takes to the track.

After making his first podium appearance for the team in Australia, instead of taking things easy before the next round on the calendar, Valtteri took time out to visit the team's title partner, Petronas.

On the way to this weekend's second round of the season at the Shanghai International Circuit in China, the Finn called in at Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur and the Research Centre in Bangi, Selangor.

"This was my first chance to visit the Twin Towers and the Research Centre," he explained. “I've already learnt a lot about Petronas and the work that goes into creating the specialist fuels, oils and lubricants that have powered the Silver Arrows to such great success. My focus now is on continuing that success as we move forward together into a new era of Formula One."

Valtteri will join new team-mate Lewis Hamilton as a Petronas global brand ambassador.
