Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta is reportedly close to finalising a £2.5 million deal to join Serie A side, AS Roma.
Gazetto dello Sport has reported that the 31-year-old, who is in the final year of his contract at City, has been offered a longer deal by Roma and is keen to make the move.
Zabaleta has made 301 appearances for City, since joining he club from Espanyol in 2008. However, he managed just 12 starts last season, as he fell down the pecking order.
