The Renault Formula One Team became the second 2017 outfit to unveil its single-seater, the RS17, at a ceremony attended by international media and the team’s partners in London on Tuesday afternoon (European time).
Highlighting new partners and sponsors, including BP, Castrol and MAPFRE, the presentation also saw the unveiling of the new Renault Sport identity, intended to strengthen ties between Renault Sport Racing and Renault Sport Cars.

The RS17 was proudly presented by this year’s drivers, Nico Hulkenberg and Jolyon Palmer while Sergey Sirotkin was formalized as third and reserve driver with Alain Prost named as Special Advisor to Renault Sport Racing

"We are perfectly placed to take the step that we all want to move in 2017,” said Cyril Abiteboul, Managing Director of Renault Sport Racing. “The RS17 is the result of many long hours working on our two sites as integrated Mews. The result is a car which we can be proud of. We have a quality staff at all levels of the team and we are delighted to see Nico and Sergey line up alongside Jolyon in 2017. A solid group of partners joined us with BP, Castrol, MAPFRE and the SMP Racing after a fantastic winter campaign of acquisition partners. We are the Formula 1 team with the strongest growth at all levels and we now have to prove ourselves on the track. Our goal is to score points in every race. "
