The car Shane van Gisbergen will defend his 2016 title in was unveiled this morning with the Red Bull Holden Racing team releasing a teaser video of their new challenger being put through its paces.

“She's such a tease, introducing our 2017 Red Bull Holden Racing Team VF Commodore Supercar. Coming soon to a Supercars round near you!” they said on their Facebook page.

Even though van Gisbergen will be intent on defending his maiden title, teammate Jamie Wiincup is just as determined to regain his spot at the top of the championship, a position he lost to Mark Winterbottom in 2015.

The new car will be officially presented to the public on Thursday the 19th of January.
