About:

Hector was just 15 years old when he made his 125 debut and soon proved to be a very promising rider, taking his first victory the following year at Donington Park. As a result he become one of the youngest riders to ever win a race and he followed it up with more strong performances that saw him finish the season 3rd overall. Sadly the following year saw mechanical issues and the odd crash here and there, but a string finish to the season saw him move up to the 250 class with Fortuna Honda. He stayed there for two seasons before moving to Team Toth in 07.

The following year he was in a huge crash at the Mugello round and while he came off rather unscathed, a second accident in Motegi left him with spinal fractures that caused him to sit out the rest of the season.  2009 proved to be a tronger season and he finished second in the championship impressing the Moto paddock enough to promote him to the senior category for 2010, racing for the Aspar Racing Team. Two yars later he moved to Pramac Racing. He only spent the one season there before moving to Avintia where he remains to this day.
