About:

Petrucci entered the MotoGP class in 2012 for CRT where he finished 19th overall in the championship and 7th in the CRT class. He remained with the team in 2013 when he slightly improve, 17th overall and 5th in the CRT class. 2014 was more of the same however, unlike 2013 when they fielded two riders, the team dropped back to just Petrucci on an Aprilia. Sadly he suffered a heavy crash during warm up for the Spanish grand Prix and ended up with a fracture wrist that saw him sit out the next two rounds.
After this he move to Pramac Racing for 2015 on a two year contract and he took his first podium finish for the team at the British Grand Prix, finishing second to Valentino Rossi is very wet conditions.

After missing out on the first four races of 2016 due to a broken hand from a crash in pre season testing, he proved tp still be a master in the wet conditions when he set the fastest lap in a wet Dutch GP, but unfortunately he was forced to retire with mechanical issues. He remains with Pramac for the 2017 season where he hopes to work his way up the order.
