Myles Stedman names 11 players on the men's circuit to keep a close on eye on 2016!

The tragedies keep coming for the Schumacher family with the legendary Formula One world champion now losing his favourite uncle to cancer.

Karl-Heinz Schumacher, 65, lost his battle with bowel cancer and a close friend has told the German press that the death has shattered the Schumacher family even more.

"It is terrible. The suffering in the family simply does not end. Since Michael's accident everyone is very sad anyway. And now the Karl-Heinz dies. Luckily, his mother did not have to experience it anymore,” he told BUNTE.

Michael's son, Mick, has already joined the Motor Racing family and after competing under his mother's maiden name, has finally started using the Schumacher name as his career progresses. Just like his fasther, Mick is planning on bursting onto the Formula One scene and following in his famous dad's footsteps.

‘My goal is also to become Formula One World Champion.'

Mick will race in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with the Prema Powerteam this year, which uses Mercedes AMG Formula 3 engines.

Michael's last race was with the Mercedes team and his old friend Ross Brawn before he walked away from F1 altogether at the end of 2012
