Jaguar Racing has confirmed that they will be giving returning F1 driver, Felipe Massa, a test drive in their Formula E contender sometime next week.

Jaguar, who has only recently joined the Formula E Championship, received the request for Massa’s test from the sport’s organisers.

“Panasonic Jaguar Racing received a request from Formula E to give Felipe Massa the chance to experience a Formula E car. We are happy to provide this opportunity.”

It is not clear exactly where the test will take place, however the confirmed test does strengthen the reports that Massa was looking to race in the series before agreeing to return to Formula One where he will be replacing his former teammate Valtteri Bottas.
