After taking part in the season opening Moto event at the Losail Circuit in Qatar last weekend, Suzuki Ecstar rider Andrea Iannone didn't take things easy, instead he sent the off racing weekend in Thailand where he visited the Bangkok Motor Show alongside Suzuki's Thailand branch.

Iannone, fresh from his debut with the factory GSX-RR, flew directly to the event following the Losail race and had a great time on the Suzuki stand.

He was welcomed by the enthusiasm of the many members of the media that joined the event, eager to see him in his full racing gear enter the stage aboard the new GSX-R150.

The GSX-R150 is a long-awaited model for this market and Suzuki enthusiasts are now looking forward to having this model available for commuting and leisure time.

Once on the stage, Iannone spent time posting for photos with the members of Suzuki Thailand Management, both with the GSX-R150 and the brand-new GSX-R1000 - a machine he tested several weeks ago at Phillipe Island in Australia. To complete the show, the stage also unveiled the renewed V-Strom family - 650cc and 1000cc - plus had the GSX-RR MotoGP race machine on display.

After a very popular and successful event, Iannone enjoyed some warm and fun moments at a private get-together with selected guests from the media and also fans; Thailand is a country with many MotoGP and Suzuki enthusiasts, who were really happy to see and meet in person the Team Suzuki Ecstar; and also be able to meet him in person.
