Preston Hire Racing and Lee Holdsworth are looking forward to putting a full stop on the 2017 Supercars Championship season this coming weekend at the Newcastle 500 event.
This brand new street venue has plenty of unknown characteristics that will play into the favour of many of the smaller teams, such as Preston Hire Racing, as no one has ever contested a race here before.
That said however, Lee knows that the challenges that lay in wait will not be easy, however he is looking forward to taking them on in the best way possible and finishing the year on a high.
“What a way to end the year,” he said. “Not just a new venue but a seriously trickly looking street track. With no team holding any prior data or knowledge of the circuit, we have a great opportunity to end the year on a real high.”
