Preston Hire Racing star Lee Holdsworth is aiming for another top ten finish in this weekend's Auckland Supersprint.

Following on from his eighth place finish at the Gold Coast ten days ago, Lee is hoping that a return to the sprint format for round 14 will once again see him featuring among the front runners.

“Really pumped to get back to Pukekohe,” he said. “Such a fast, tough bumpy little track but awesome to drive. We found some pace at the Gold Coast and I am aiming to build on that in New Zealand. The season is nearly over so it's important for us to finish strong.”

Holdsworth is currently 16th in the Supercars Championship after falling from 11th with two DNF's, one a freak mechanical failure at the Bathurst 1000 and another from the unforgiving chicanes at the Gold Coast 600.
