
Lewis Hamilton has cut teammate Nico Rosberg's championship lead to just 26 points with three races remaining, after cruising to victory in the US Grand Prix.
Hamilton started from pole and led from start to finish, while Rosberg came in second, with Australian Daniel Ricciardo finishing third.

Ricciardo's podium finish was capped off with yet another 'shoey', this time performed by Hollywood star, Gerard Butler.

The win was Hamilton's 50th career race win, moving just one race win behind second placed Alain Prost with 51 career wins, while Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher sits atop with 91 race wins.

Sebastian Vettel finished fourth to stay seven points ahead of Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen in fifth place in the championship standings, after he failed to finish the race.
