On the eve of the final MotoGP race of the 2016 season, Fox Sports has announced that they have signed an extension to their current agreement to continue broadcasting both the MotoGP Championship and the World Superbike series, exclusively and in high definition to their Australian viewers.
The coverage will continue to showcase all free practice sessions, qualifying and live races through the 2017 and 2018 seasons, accompanied by their own panel of experts.
“We have seen plenty of great racing across this year’s MotoGP (Moto, Moto2 and Moto3)and World Superbikes, with the highlight being Aussie star Jack Miller claiming his maiden MotoGP race win,” Fox Sports CEO Patrick Delany said in a statement. “Today’s announcement is great news for motorsport fans will continue to enjoy the most comprehensive coverage of both championships on Australian TV.”
