The clouds finally parted in China for the third and final practice session of the weekend to get underway and it was the Ferrari’s of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen leading the way.

While qualifying is still to come this afternoon, it must be noted that Ferrari hasn’t had a pole position here on the Shanghai International Circuit since 2004 but the way Vettel and Raikkonen are performing, that could very well change here in less than two hours time.

Valtteri Bottas was third fastest for Mercedes, despite losing his T wing and ran wide at the final turn on several occasions.

Lewis Hamilton, who was just as fast as Vettel in the first two sectors, made a mistake at turn 14 and ended the session fourth.

Felipe Massa was a pleasing fifth for Williams with Red Bull in sixth and seventh ahead of Massa’s team mate Lance Stoll in P8.
