About:

2017 will be Jolyon’s second full season in Formula One and his second with the RenaultF1 team. His 2016 season only produced one solitary point as he struggled to come to grips with the car and the lack of power from the Renault engine. Prior to joining F1, Jolyon raced in the GP2 series for four seasons and he finally won the championship in 2014 when racing for the DAMS team. Jolyon, son of former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer, will be hoping that Renault have upped their game this season and that 2017 will yield the results he is desperately craving.
