Former Australian Open junior champion Oliver Anderson has been provisionally suspended after being charged by Victoria Police with corruption.

Anderson, 18, has been "excluded from competing in, or attending, any tournament or event" effectively immediately by the Tennis Integrity Unit.

He is yet to be found guilty of the charges, however, will be suspended until the investigation is complete.

"Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit detectives and bookmakers assisted with the investigation," Victoria Police said in a statement.

"The Queensland man was charged with engaging in conduct that corrupts a betting outcome."
