The long wait is over and the V8 Supercars will finally roar into life for the first time since December last year when they take part in the 2017 season opener, the Clipsal 500 at the Parklands Circuit in Adelaide.

With new cars revealed, driver line ups finalized and a test day under their belt, everyone is ready for what should be a brilliant opening round, including Team Vortex and their veteran driver, Craig Lowndes.

After finishing fourth in the 2016 championship, Lowndsey is determined for a stronger result this year, starting with round one….

“I’m feeling confident going into Clipsal,” he said. “After a successful test day and shakedown I feel much better, as does my body. Knowing that Clipsal is a street circuit, they always tend to be a little more demanding on you physically. But all in all, I feel good and the car feels good, so I am really looking forward to it.”

This will be Craig and TeamVortex’s second season together with the No. 888 VF Holden Commodore.
