Brad Jones Racing will lose a major chunk of change in 2017 as long term sponsor, BOC, cuts back on the amount they plan to commit to the team and the Supercars Championship.

BOC is the longest current naming rights team sponsor after more than 12 years together in the Supercars series, and while they will no longer be the main sponsor for the team, the relationship between BOC and Brad Jones Racing will continue.

“It will be very different not seeing the Team BOC car on the grid in 2017. It has been such a rewarding relationship; BOC have been side by side with us over 12 fantastic years in Supercars,” said team boss Brad Jones. “It is not the end of this relationship by any means, BOC will continue to support us in 2017 and beyond; so you will still see BOC on our cars and you’ll see their products in our workshop and at the race track.”

BOC is the third longest running naming rights sponsor in the history of the series after starting in 2004 with Andrew Jones. The following season they debuted their colors on the two BA Ford Falcons of Brad Jones and John Bowe and Team BOC has been a household name ever since.
